A Super 8 reel found and violently treated with chlorine. Destination Tokyo—a wartime propaganda film starring Cary Grant—serves as the seed for an almost ready-made film. The revenge for Pearl Harbor, or the atomic bomb is here anticipated. Alternative history and propaganda in the age of paranormal paranoia. The empire has always been here.
